Why We Started Barely There Litter
It all started with our rescue cat, Elsa. She has been quite the muse, as she inspired us to design the most secure cat harness on the market (Catventure Harness from Cat Harness Australia). Our first venture into the pet industry has been a wild ride, we are solving one problem at a time when it comes to cat products.
We have had Elsa for 9 years, we have always used plastic litter boxes and have gone through quite a few. You know what its like - need one that has a lid to keep the litter contained, but not a flap-door, because the cat hats the flap-door, then one big enough because she makes a mess and feels uncomfortable turning around in small spaces.
ven though we have a 4.5kg small cat, the Extra Large Box is what we always needed (and she could probably dream of a bigger one still). Even though you find the perfect plastic litter box, it needs to be replaced so regularly as plastic holds the smell of the cats business. Not only this dilemma, but trying to find the right size litter box liners that fit perfectly are a nightmare!They're also expensive for no good reason (bin bags from the shops are cheaper). Then they never work anyway because the cat scratches through them.
Why do businesses continue to rip off cat owners with bad products with a big price tag. Ok rant over.... kind of.
