I’m very happy with my decision to purchase this stainless steel cat litter box. I chose it over the automatic plastic litter boxes, and I’m so glad I did. The product description is very accurate, and the litter box feels well-made, sturdy and durable.
The stainless steel construction is excellent for odour control, easy cleaning and long-term use. It’s also much more hygienic than plastic and looks great too.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this litter box to other cat owners. A great-quality product that is definitely worth it!

Owned both the round litter tray and the xxl round litter tray since 31/08, posting 4 weeks after
1x female cat 1x male cat ( with complex medical issues leading to litter-box aversion)
Pros:
Between purchase and delivery it was 2 weeks ( both were preorders that arrived earlier than advertised which was awesome )
Have gone through every single plastic litter box and every single litter type over 3 years. my male cat didn’t agree with any and would constantly pee outside the tray or cry until I put him in the tray.
Since arrival male cat had one accident otherwise both cats have had no issues at all with using either of these trays. ( male cat stands up when he pees so high walls were a must! Adding that a taller version is now available for pre order, this version suits us as he’s bang on 30cm )
Both sizes are plenty of space for both to dig, turn around and no smells with the steel!
Takes 1-1.5 boxes of everclean litter to fill, they are scooped daily only deep cleaned twice so far
Cons:
A pain in the ass to clean ( size and weight wise not ability to actually scrub it out )
Would rather wrestle to get it clean then deal with the smells and constant cleaning of pee and litter
Overall so happy with these purchases! Cats are happy, I’m happy and visitors are happy! Definitely recommend
Absolutely impressed with Barely There Litter. As the owner of two Siberian cats, finding litter boxes that are genuinely large enough for them has always been a challenge — a lot of products labelled “large” simply aren’t designed with bigger breeds in mind.
The XXL stainless-steel litter box is a completely different story. It is genuinely spacious, extremely well made, and the 304 stainless steel construction feels solid and premium. Samus has plenty of room to comfortably get in, turn around and use the box without looking like she’s been squeezed into something half her size.
Nick and Taylor have also been fantastic to deal with. You can tell there has been real thought put into solving an actual problem for cat owners rather than just making another generic litter product.
For anyone with a Siberian, Maine Coon or another large cat, Barely There is absolutely worth checking out. Highly recommended.
I purchased this litter tray to reduce odours with my 2 cats, and it has worked! I will never go back to a plastic litter tray. Easy to keep clean, and a great size for 2 cats, and I can still use my wood pellet litter. Will be buying a second one next!
The xxl litter tray is amazing my car Tiggar loves it so much space , best buy the service was great , wonderful Australian business , it came so fast just brilliant , will buy from them again cheers .
Brilliant tray. Very hygienic and I can see it lasting many many years. Love the huge size. Large enough that our cats are happy to use it multiple times in different areas overnight and while we're out at work without any fuss.
I pre-ordered my Barely There litter box and was told it would be ready at the start of August, and I’m so happy to say it arrived right on time! The delivery was super quick and everything was so easy.
Unfortunately, my litter box was missing the scoop, but their customer service was absolutely amazing. I contacted them and they sent one out to me straight away. They were so reliable, helpful and quick to sort it out. ❤️

The XL is really XL which is great for my two cats. The round shapes means you dont get clumps in corners. It's high walled too, which is handy as I have a male cat who tends to spray sideways a bit. Love it. Easy to clean
Amazing litter box, the smell has improved immensely.
I've never spent so much on a pet product before, especially something so very bougie:) but I was fed up with stinky plastic trays. This stainless litter box is perfect for our 2 domestic long haired cats. Our big boy Loki loves it & has a ball, our smaller girl Theia is a rescue with anxiety and taking a bit longer to adapt. So much less litter trail with the high edge, it's massive & quite heavy so be sure of where you decide place it.
My three kitties are 11 years old and are very fussy when it comes to their litter boxes. Since I unpacked this stainless steel one they much prefer it than any of the plastic ones. The plastic ones are hardly used, so I will have to switch them out.
