This Singapore Privacy Notice explains how Barely There Litter handles personal data relating to customers and visitors in Singapore. It supplements the Privacy Policy shown at checkout.

Personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect your name, contact details, delivery and billing information, order history, customer service messages, device and browsing information, and payment-related information. Payment providers process full payment-card details on our behalf.

How we use personal data

We use personal data to operate the storefront, process and deliver orders, provide support, prevent fraud, improve our services, meet legal obligations and send marketing where you have consented or where otherwise permitted.

Who we share data with

We share only what is reasonably needed with service providers such as Shopify, payment providers, SPX, our Singapore fulfilment provider, analytics and communications providers, professional advisers, and authorities where legally required.

Overseas transfers

Some service providers may process personal data outside Singapore, including in Australia and other countries. We take reasonable steps to ensure transferred personal data receives a standard of protection comparable to the protection required by Singapore law.

Retention and security

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including legal, accounting and dispute-resolution needs. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access or correct your personal data, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or raise a privacy concern. Withdrawal may affect our ability to provide a service where the data is necessary for that service. We may need to verify your identity and may charge a permitted fee for an access request.
